DNS Record Lookup

DNS Record Lookup tool fetches nameservers of a given domain name you typed, and then fetches DNS records of each nameserver.
The DNS records (A, AAAA, CAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, and SRV records) of nameservers helps webmasters to identify either the DNS records of nameservers have been entered correctly or not.

What is DNS?

The Domain Name System (DNS) is the phonebook of the Internet. When you access information online through domain names, like google.com or facebook.com.
Web browsers interact through Internet Protocol (IP4/IP6) addresses. DNS servers translates domain names to IPv4 or IPv6 addresses so your internet browsers can load Internet resources.
Every online device connected to the Internet has a unique IP4 or IP6 address which allowed other machines use to find this device.
DNS servers eliminate the need for humans to memorize IP addresses such as 192.168.1.1 (in IPv4), or more complex newer alphanumeric IP addresses such as 2a03:2880:f10d:83:face:b00c::25de (in IPv6).

How does DNS Work?

The process of DNS resolution involves converting a hostname (such as www.example.com or example.com) into a computer-friendly IP4/IP6 address (such as 8.8.8.8 or 2a03:2880:f10d:83:face:b00c::25de).
An IPv4/IPv6 address is given to each device on the Internet, and that IPv4/IPv6 address is necessary to find the appropriate Internet device - like a street address is used to find a particular home. When a user is loading a webpage, a translation must occur between what a user types into their web browser (example.com) and the machine-friendly address necessary to locate the example.com's webpage.
